Electricity

Electricity is vital for the operation of various medical devices such as ventilators, vital signs monitors, diagnostic systems, and lighting. Interruptions in power supply can cause failures during surgical procedures, loss of critical patient data, and even the risk of death. To prevent this, hospitals rely on alternative power sources, including emergency generators, uninterruptible power supplies, and continuous monitoring systems that alert staff to supply failures.

 

Water

Potable water plays a crucial role in many aspects of human life, being essential not only for daily consumption but also for efficient hygiene services, food preparation, and medical procedures. This is vital to ensure that essential medical services continue without interruption.
